Jean Paul Parent was born in central France in 1934. He lived in Spain and studied Art in Lyon. He exhibited in Spain (Barcelona and Madrid in the mid 60’s), Germany and Italy.

​His works were influenced by Picasso and other modernists of the period. His last exhibition was in Spain in the late 80s after which he went into obscurity.
